Senior Accountant

Position Summary:
DiagnosTechs is a pioneer and leader in saliva-based hormone testing. Our primary concern is to assist healthcare professionals in restoring patients' health. We are renowned for our innovative products, services and solutions including diagnostic testing systems.
Due to company growth, we are looking to increase staff and hire a full time Senior Accountant in our Kent, WA location. If you are looking for challenges and learning opportunities with long term growth and advancement potential then we want to hear from you.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Perform day-to-day financial accounting operations
  • Develop, incorporate, and maintain accounting procedures and internal controls
  • Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and closing
  • Preparation of tax filings and reports for local, state and federal government
  • Financial statement analysis, reporting forecasting, modeling, planning and budgeting
Requirements or Qualifications:
  • Thorough understanding of GAAP Experience with Intact Accounting software
  • Intermediate to advanced level of experience with QuickBooks
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Power user of Excel and strong knowledge of ERP systems
  • High-level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Adobe
  • Proactive communicator with initiative to identify issues and solutions
  • Demonstrate professional demeanor and portray company core values to patients, providers and co-workers
  • Intuitive and inquisitive with focus on providing top-level service to clients
  • Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
  • Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment
  • Cash management and wire transfer experience
  • Tax return experience
  • ERISA trust fund familiarity a plus
Education and Experience:
  • BA/BS Finance, Business required
  • Five years relevant experience preferably with a medical organization, with a minimum of two years supervisory experience

Marketing Specialist

Position Summary:
We are building a new marketing team which will have a significant influence over how our brand is perceived in the market. This position will focus on content marketing and will need to balance creative and analytical tasks. We want to create a memorable marketing campaigns with strong analytical indicators. We are beginning development on a new website and beginning to plan our content calendar. We will be supporting trade show presence through our sales and medical staff, and content will be generated with the support and expertise of our medical support personnel and laboratory experts. This is a great opportunity for someone with little experience and a great attitude!

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conference/event coordination and attendance with Sales and Management teams
  • Assist in advertising campaigns and marketing promotions as well as digital and social marketing
  • Develop ideas and content for social media and blogs
  • Assist in developing brand identity and product packaging for test kits
  • Support website content and updates
  • Work with our Medical and Laboratory teams on the release of new patient tests
  • Other tasks as assigned
Requirements or Qualifications:
  • Strong writing skills for web content, blogging and technical documentation
  • Website content management
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions and critiques from managers, team members, providers, and patients
  • Email Marketing
  • Social media management
  • Adobe Creative Cloud familiarity (especially Photoshop and InDesign)
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office-especially Excel.
  • Google analytics
  • Video production experience
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
  • Three-five years of content marketing experience
  • Healthcare background
  • Strong personal management skills, including time management, planning, organizing, and delivery of results

Patient Account Representative

Position Summary:
The Patient Account Representative processes claims, addresses overdue accounts and resolves collection disputes.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming billing and insurance related phone calls and emails
  • Collect outstanding balances with patients by making outgoing calls and receiving incoming calls
  • Collect and post patient payments
  • Respond to collection disputes
  • Data entry and verification of Medicare and Insurance Demographics
  • Place outbound calls to collect ton past due balances
  • Review and evaluate incoming requisition forms
  • Assist the Insurance Coordinators in their daily job functions
  • Perform all other duties required by the Department Manager
Requirements or Qualifications:
  • Strong personal management skills, including time management, planning, organizing and delivery of results
  • Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone
  • Highly skilled in compiling and reporting information that is accurate and complete
  • Professional demeanor
  • Consistency and timeliness in attendance
  • Patient, friendly, and out-going personality; work well with all types of people
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent. AA degree preferred
  • Three to five years of collections experience
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare Insurance and Healthcare billing
  • Ability to type 55-60 WPM

Client Services Representative

Position Summary:
The Client Services Representative answers questions from patients and providers about saliva-based testing kits, reviews medical paperwork, and makes appointments for DTI Medical Support staff.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Professionally handle a large number of incoming calls from patients and providers and ensure that questions are answered courteously, promptly and thoroughly
  • Provide extraordinary customer service for all phone and email inquiries
  • Detailed review of medical paperwork
  • Schedule educational consultations between providers and DTI Medical Support staff
  • Follow up on company inquires to providers or patients that have not been immediately resolved
  • Accurately enter provider's orders for patient test kits
  • Recognize when it is necessary to escalate patient or provider concerns to Assistant Manger or Director
  • Perform all other duties required by management
Requirements or Qualifications:
  • Demonstrate professional demeanor and portray company core values to patients, providers and co-workers
  • Strong personal management skills, including time management, planning, organizing and delivery of results
  • Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone
  • Highly skilled in reviewing, compiling and reporting information that is accurate and complete
