CLIENT AND TECHNICAL SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE

The Client and Technical Services Representative:

  • Provides assistance and problem resolution to clients.
  • Provides information regarding the options, policies, procedures, and services available to clients.
  • Applies knowledge of DiagnosTechs processes in the resolution of inquiries, complaints, and problems.

Typical Work:

  • Answers incoming calls and forwards to the appropriate department to assist them
  • Assists clients by interpreting policies and procedures
  • Scheduling Medical Support appointments for providers.
  • Understands basics of opening, closing, combining, and updating information on accounts, even if not directly involved in doing so
  • Reviews and researches file documentation to resolve customer related complaints as well as documenting these complaints when they occur
  • Refers customers to proper departments or venues involved in appealing department decisions.
  • Requests information from clients for processing tests or updating notes under the account
  • Responds to questions on all company services and how to access or order services
  • Acts as liaison between the client and DTI departments
  • Uses knowledge of DTI policies and procedures, provides clients and public with explanations on forms, pamphlets, and other materials
  • Maintains assigned logs
  • Performs other duties as required

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of departmental programs, policies, testing procedures, basic laws affecting department (including HIPAA and New York regulation). Data collection.
  • Ability to apply and interpret applicable laws, policies, procedures, use good judgment in evaluating and making decisions, communicate effectively and maintain courteous attitude toward public and employees.

Minimum Qualifications

A High school diploma/GED equivalent and/or two years of experience providing assistance to clients/ customers regarding inquiries, complaints, or problems

MEDICAL BILLING SPECIALIST

The Medical Billing Specialist is responsible for organizing patient medical costs and sending invoices to collect payment from patients, providers and insurers. The duties include calling patients to discuss payment and develop reasonable payment plans, entering patient data into administrative systems and recording information about outstanding claims.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Posting charges
  • Completion of claims to payers
  • Conducting duties in a professional and timely manner
  • Submitting billing data to the appropriate insurance providers
  • Submission and follow up on Medicare and commercial claims.
  • Resolving instances of claim denials
  • Securing maximum reimbursement for services provided
  • Deploying, maintaining and reporting on various programs
  • Test and fee schedule coding
  • Custodian of medical records
  • Conducting audits
  • All collections

The medical biller manages incoming and outgoing payments for medical treatment. The role requires communication with patients about their outstanding balance and handling the administrative responsibilities of billing insurance and processing payments. The specialist documents each step in the billing process and manages patient information in a billing software database. The Medical Biller investigates system errors and pursues information about denied claims in order to collect payments quickly.

REGIONAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE

The Regional Sales Representative is, in many ways, the face of the company and is the principal point of contact between DiagnosTechs and its customers. The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for building our healthcare practitioner client base and ensuring current customers have the right products and services. The Regional Sales Representative identifies new markets and customer leads, pitches prospective customers and. monitors the competition, all while maintaining good customer relations and pursuing new sales opportunities through outbound emails, calls, and even visits.

Sales Representative Job Responsibilities:

  • Research potential healthcare clients and devise strategy to connect with them and follow upon any prior engagement and leads.
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales sources.
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying customer’s needs
  • Maintains quality service in all interactions.
  • Demonstrated customer service or inside sales experience, including cold calling from a telephone
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, and marketing techniques.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

Sales Representative Qualifications/Skills:

  • BA/BS University degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferred with 2+ years of industry sales experience.
  • Certification, or related study, and/or experience in a lab testing environment will help with the quick understanding of our products and services and relevant research. Any industry knowledge highly desirable.
  • Any previous experience demonstrating Customer service, meeting sales goals, closing skills, prospecting skills and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with office software and phone systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks and possess strong attention to detail.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with high sales motivation.
