Senior Marketing Coordinator

Our deadline-driven, disciplined and focused DiagnosTechs Marketing team is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to ensure projects get done on time and under budget.  We are also focused on having fun while we work – but when we work, we work hard!

Our Marketing Coordinator will report to the Vice President of Marketing, and will collaborate with key players on our marketing team and throughout the company to make sure that each project gets the resources and attention it requires to be successful.  The successful candidate for this position will also be responsible for project management, assuring tradeshow coordination and implementation plans, and communicating with internal DiagnosTechs teams to keep marketing campaigns on track.  The Marketing Coordinator will work with the marketing team to coordinate day-to-day activities that lead to the completion of projects and tasks.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of copy/content and messaging, coordinating the internal review and approval process of all print and digital communications
  • Coordinate and lead all tradeshow planning, booth and materials shipping/tracking, travel, and creation of tradeshow playbooks for each event
  • Setting, facilitating and scribing regular marketing team meetings, preparing conference reports from each meeting, and then setting timelines and assigning tasks
  • Tracking and coordinating the completion of action items from multiple team members
  • Travel and weekend hours occasionally required for select tradeshow attendance
  • Interact and coordinate regular communication with team members at all levels of the organization, including but not limited to, executive and senior leadership, medical team, IT, sales, and customer/client services
  • Assess currently maintained data to develop company metrics in coordination with marketing team data lead to ensure statistics are available for all corporate communications
  • Work and coordinate with the IT department by organizing and scheduling the creation and implementation of website content
  • Work with the graphic design team members to help deliver content that meets the Vice President of Marketing’s specifications
  • Manage all social media platforms, proving content and ensuring regular posting frequency, under the direction of the Vice President of Marketing
  • Provide copy drafts as requested for a variety of corporate communications (copywriting skills a real plus)
  • Prepare letters and emails to clients in response to questions or to provide clarification, under the direction of the Vice President of Marketing
Requirements or Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of prevailing software applications such as Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent writing skills including the ability to work with the medical team on highly complex projects
  • Must be able to help the team define and then articulate a strong value proposition and communications designed to produce a return on investment
  • Strong planning, critical thinking, and decision-making skills are mandatory
  • Work collaboratively and effectively as a team member, as well as able to work independently, while adhering to strict deadlines
  • Must be a self-starter, able to work with little direction and bring things together
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Sales, or related field
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a marketing capacity
  • Strong, proven project management skills, process-oriented approach, and attention to detail to direct and manage complex projects with multiple moving parts
  • Exposure to medical/healthcare markets highly preferred but not required

Laboratory Director for Clinical Laboratory High Complexity Laboratory, MD or Ph.D.  Required

DiagnosTechs is a pioneer and leader in saliva-based testing. We are looking for a Laboratory Director who will be responsible for the overall operation and administration of the Clinical Laboratory.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical laboratory regulations (CLIA) as well as additional regulatory experience with COLA, CAP or JHACO.  Experience in leading successful clinical laboratory inspections desired.

Requirements:
  • MD Pathologist or a Ph.D. (see below) with appropriate board certification to met CLIA requirements to be a high-complexity laboratory director or currently eligible to obtain
  • 5+ experience in working in a clinical laboratory environment
  • 2+ years experience in directing and supervising a high complexity testing laboratory
  • Experience with clinical regulatory requirements is required
For MD:
  • Must be certified in Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology
For Ph.D.:

The qualification for a laboratory director of high-complexity testing is that the laboratory director must hold an earned doctoral degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science from an accredited institution and be currently certified by a board approved by HHS. The current approved boards are the following:

  • ABB – American Board of Bioanalysis
  • ABB public health microbiology certification
  • ABCC – American Board of Clinical Chemistry
  • ABCC 24-month Commission on Accreditation in Clinical Chemistry (COMACC)
  • ABFT – American Board of Forensic Toxicology
  • ABHI – American Board of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics
  • ABMG – American Board of Medical Genetics
  • ABMLI – American Board of Medical Laboratory Immunology
  • ABMM – American Board of Medical Microbiology
  • NRCC – National Registry of Certified Chemists
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assume overall responsibility for all laboratory processes as defined by administration
  • Serve as technical expert for the laboratory.  Be accessible to the laboratory and medical support staff during operating hours to answer questions, troubleshoot problems and participate in conference calls with providers or vendors.
  • Work closely with the Associate Laboratory Director, Laboratory Manager and Executive Committee to provide strategic plans and ideas to continuously improve the overall quality and services offered by the laboratory.  Develop new processes and procedures when necessary.
  • Review, develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to ensure high quality and timely processing and reporting of clinical samples
  • Ensure the laboratory is adequately staffed for efficient management of workloads
  • Ensure that all personnel have the appropriate education, experience, and perform all training and testing to verify that they maintain competency to run laboratory tests
  • Daily review of results before release to physicians and providers
  • Ensure all laboratory personnel are performing test methods according to standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure that appropriate corrective actions are taken and documented if significant deviations from the laboratory’s established performance characteristics are identified
  • Make contributions to scientific literature, present at conferences and maintain an active involvement in all relevant scientific organizations.
  • Represent the laboratory at conferences and trade shows both in the United States as well as internationally
  • Assist in the selection and validation of new equipment for the laboratory
Qualifications:
  • Established ability to evaluate and produce reliable results, problem-solve and troubleshoot complex laboratory problems.
  • Proficient in the use of various software programs, including Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to foster a team environment that encourages a variety of thoughts and opinions
